Pupils from St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School in Hartlepool recently enjoyed a fantastic morning of storytelling during a visit to Community Hub South.

Captivating Stories for Young Minds

The children were delighted to take part in a session led by Elizabeth Baker Storytelling, whose imaginative and engaging stories captured everyone’s attention from beginning to end.

The session was filled with smiles, laughter and excitement, helping to bring stories to life in a creative and memorable way.

Inspiring a Love of Reading

During the visit, pupils also learned about this year’s Summer Reading Challenge, “Read to the Beat”, and are now looking forward to taking part over the school holidays.

The experience encouraged children to develop a deeper interest in books, storytelling and creativity.

A Valuable Opportunity

The visit was a wonderful opportunity for pupils to engage with storytelling in a new setting, helping to nurture a lifelong love of reading.

A huge thank you goes to the team at Community Hub South and to Elizabeth Baker for providing such an inspiring and enjoyable experience.

The school looks forward to seeing pupils discover even more exciting stories over the summer.
