At St Teresa’s, we are committed to helping our pupils understand the importance of supporting others and making a positive difference in the local community.

Recently, several of our classes have had the opportunity to welcome representatives from their chosen class charities to learn more about the incredible work they do. Year 5 were delighted to meet Emily from the Hartlepool Baby Bank, who spoke about the support the charity provides to local families. Pupils also donated a fantastic collection of items to help those in need.

Year 3 welcomed representatives from Hartlepool Families First, learning more about the charity’s work and discussing ways they can support its efforts throughout the year.

These visits have been a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to develop their understanding of social responsibility, compassion and service to others. We are looking forward to welcoming more representatives from our class charities in the coming weeks and learning how we can continue to support the amazing work they do within our community.
