There was double cause for celebration for St Teresa’s as both our boys’ and girls’ teams enjoyed success in the penalty shoot-out challenge during half-time at today’s Hartlepool game.

Showing fantastic skill and composure under pressure, both teams secured victory and earned their places in the next round, which will take place in January.

Despite the rain and cold conditions, every player represented the school brilliantly. Their determination, encouragement of one another and positive attitude were a wonderful example of how we strive to “Do the Little Things Well” every day.

A huge thank you to our families and staff who came along to support the teams and brave the weather. Your encouragement was greatly appreciated by all involved.

Congratulations to all of our players on a fantastic achievement. We look forward to cheering them on again in the next round and as they continue their journey in the Road to Wembley competition after half-term!
